Ignore the number of backlinks in Google - see the sticky message at the top of his forum.

The only way to increase PR is to get more links - the toolbar PR has not been updated for 3 months. (Google have updated it internally)

asimkhaliq: Got to Yahoo and linkdomain:www.pulseuniform.com shows 87 links which
linkdomain:www.pulseuniform.com -inurl:www.pulseuniform.com shows you have no links. So all your links are internal as far as Yahoo is concerned.
With Google you show 10 pages in the index (site:www.pulseuniform.com) so you have been crawled.
The fact that you show no links in either Yahoo or Google is because any links you do have are not known to Google or Yahoo. I did do a search on your domain name and found the odd link.

You don't have any toolbar displayed PR because there hasn't been an update since June 22. Also you need links to PR vote in order to get PR.

If I was you I won't worry to much about getting toolbar PR. PR doesn't have much weight in your search engine results position (Ranking) so it is not to big a concern for you.

You need to work on getting links. You many want to set up a reciprocal links page with a number of relevant catagories and work on geting 200 or 300 relevant links.

Keep in mind that those links may be sandboxed by Google for about 3 months so they may not help you much in Rankings.

Check "sandboxed" and "sandbox effect" on your favorite Search Engine for more information on being sandboxed.

To rank for Yahoo and MSN it will be more on-page factors. There are lots of good FAQs on the on-page factors you want to optimize also.

All the best with your new site.

That is just not true.

What Google choose to show or not show in its random sample of backlinks to a site has no relationship to what links Google does or does not know about and what it does or does not incoporate into the PR calculations.

Do not read ANYTHING into what Google shows or not shoes as a backlink using the link: command.

I see that you have a number of pages indexed in Yahoo (nearly 90 pages) but only one external link from url.biz (and that page is not indexed in Google.)

In Google you appear to have 10 pages indexed but no sites that link to yours, using the link: command, but do not worry about that, you are in the index so Google has found at least one link to your site.

Visible or Toolbar PR has not been updated in nearly three months and IMO this may be the reason for your PR0 on the toolbar.

I would recommend getting more inbound text links for your site, and carefully check that when you list with some of the shopping directories that you are actuall getting a link that search engines can read.
