i have consistantly had a page rank on one of our webs of 6 and this past weekend saw the home page drop to 0 while the others maintain the 6. is there something going on at google or might the ranking have been hijacked and if so is there a way of checking this?
thank you
ira

Check back through this forum - we have had numerous hreads on this. If your inner pages retain PR and your search results are the same, don't worry about it.

thank you for your reply. i just found out through directnic who house my active and parked domains that the googlebot apparantly did not have all of the info on the site for some reason and just lists the site name without the www.

do you think time will remedy this? I wrote Google to ask why or anything else i can do for the moment?

appreciatively

If you are talking about the site in your profile:

Thats not the reason.

Given that the search results of all the sites affected, its assumed to be a display of PR on the toolbar glitch.

How are your search results? Given you link to viagara et al type sites, you are sending really poor quality signals to Google --> I would not be surprised if you drop.

Yep, .. I also wouldn't recommend linking to pharmaceutical companies; since your content is about printing, your links should also be about printing (yeah, I saw that the top links are concerning print topics) ... you don't do yourself any good, if you're linking to something dubious...

And consider this: your customers could be puzzled about you encouraging them to visit viagra sites ;) .. like "why does my printing service want me to check back on viagra?" it's not like you're a pharmacy, are you?
