Ok, I am not a fan of this particular Arabic TV network and its CNN-wonna-be online version. I find it very biased and honestly quite anti-western (big news there!).
After seeing and hearing about the network I decided to check their site and was quite surprised to see Google's presence (search and Adwords) all over it. Now, I'm not going to get into pros and cons of current US policies in the Middle East and am not looking for lesson on benefits of free economy. However the last time I checked US soldiers and dozens of other people from all walks of life were being killed in that region almost daily and in my personal opinion Al-Jazeera is doing its best in facilitating it. I was just wondering whether the money should be a bottom line for Google even when they cut commission checks to a private network that's mainly known in the west as a podium for Bin Laden and a free outlet for gruesome beheading videos… Hey, let me see, we are talking about a publicly-owned company based in US. Does
Al-Jazeera have other interest in this venture?
