Googlebot doesn't see the links pointing to me

Recently I signed up for a link exchange that provided my website with over 30 links (this is just the second week) pointing to my web site. I checked most most of the web sites and their links are pointing to my website. I was hoping that these links would encourage Googlebot to revisit more often, but it still hasn't visited my site since I posted a redesign that was better SEO'd and user-friendly. Anyone know why Googlebot isn't seeing the links to my website?

I think it can depend on how often the sites you have links with are spidered.
