Default What optimization sofware do you use for google?

I've tried pretty much all of them, but would like to hear your opinion on which optimization software you guys prefer for optimizing your site for google. I like webceo personally.

I use WebPosition Gold, but I'm not sure it is the best choice. I am also interested to hear what the guru's say.

I have never used any of them and never intend to.

The only optimization software I use, is the one between my ears.

CBP, as usual, hit the nail on the head. No software package is as safe or effective as using your own noggin.

i really find this interesting, i've been using WebPosition Gold for some time and stopped using it a week ago after confirming with CBP and others that it is a waste of time, so i guess CBP is right, the best tool is between your ears...

now i need to learn how to use this new tool - ROFL

The real issue that I have with programs like WebCEO and WPG is that they get you so focused on the minute percents/ratios of keywords in all the different places and make you miss the bigger picture of actually writing good content.

They get these %'s from an analysis of high ranking sites - those sites may rank high for any number of reasons .... which could have nothing to do the real reason.

They also get you so focused on the stuff that you have a greater influence over (ie the on-page stuff) which do not count for much in the rankings (because you can influence it so much). Most of your focus should be on the stuff that you have less influence over (ie the off-page anchor text in backlinks) as this is what has biggest affect on the rankings (because you have less influence over it)..... these programs don't do this most important bit for you.

I won't go near the submission and reporting funcion of these programs....we been that way many times.

How many times have you seen people come to forums asking why they are not ranking in Google and they quote all the percents and ratios relative to the top ranking sites etc etc (you know its a WPG report)....they just have no links to the site!!!

i have to admit that the results i am getting from the major SE's are based on the work i have done personally on obtaining backlinks and my site title and metas, no tool needed
