Default New Sites Succeeding in Google (started after April)

Can anyone show some examples of sites that they have started since late March/April of this year that are ranking well for competitive sites?

Please tell us or suggest your keywords and your url. I think we might be able to puzzle out through example what the 'march filter' is.

Thanks for your participation!

My site was started May 23 this year. It's ranked as a 6 in the google directory but not the toolbar since the toolbar hasn't been updated in recent memory.

Currently it's optimized for "robotic autonomous vehicles" and ranks well for that on all major search engines. It's somewhat optimized for "DARPA Grand Challenge", "Grand Challenge", and "DARPA Challenge". It's slightly better optimized for "robotic(s)" but it returns so many hits I've never bothered to find it.

I did some massive changes about two months ago and have been letting the site cook to see what the changes would return. Hopefully there will be a toolbar update soon and I can see some results on pages other than the home.

Before we start, I'm aware I need to work on my tags, better optimize for the additional key words, and add content. I have all that ready to go as soon as the toolbar updates. Except for the blog I'm keeping the static to see the results of html validation. I validated a page with very little content and didn't validate a page with different but about the same content.

When you check links you'll see a bunch from desertracing. Since the last link update I'm down to about 108 but at one time was showing nearly 700. That was because I'm in the sidebar of desertracing and another php nuke site. Since the last update they've dropped the other nuke site and have added some more relevant links. They're missing several 7s and a bunch of 6s that I know link to me.

Need any more info for your study? As I said, the site will remain relatively static till the next toolbar update then I'll be doing a lot of overhaul. I'll put a watch on this thread.
