My site has been up for 2 months, and I got indexed a few weeks ago with Google. I was able to get 2 good backlinks, one a PR6 and the other PR7. My home page gets crawled daily, and other pages less often. Question:

Does changing the content on my homepage help in keeping Google interested in continuously cacheing my site daily?

I have tried to add this or that here and there to improve my site, and would like to add an RSS feed, but am finding it difficult.

To start with, make sure your website is crawler friendly, hierarchical simple link navigation, avoid JavaScript, and a sitemap linked to every page would be helpful.
Then try getting some higher PR sites to link to your site, or better still, work on few external links pointing to internal pages within your website containing first-rate sub-topic content.

You can find some useful resources to start with rss at channels.lockergnome.com
Best wishes,
