Please look at my title tag. Do you think it is too excessive. After reading the banned stuff I am
thinking yes, too excessive altogether.

This may be my last post

I have gotten ten emails from this guy in the last five minutes so it most be true.
MR.WANG QIN
On June 6, 1998, a British Oil consultant/ contractor with the Chinese
Solid Minerals Corporation, Mr. Smith Lawrence made a numbered time
(Fixed) Deposit for twelve calendar months, valued at US$28,000,000.00
(Twenty-eight Million Dollarsonly)in my branch.

All I need to do is send him all my banking information.
What a deal for me.
How stupid do these people think people are?

hehehe - if it works for you, FWD the e-mail to me and I'll try as well! I could use US $28,000,000.00! :-)

I just read this post and it all sounds interesting. However, I've looked on all the sites and I cannot see this in a google search or a title tag. I've also put one of those characters on my home page at http://eyemagination.us/. You can view the source...am I doing something wrong? All I see is a box. I'm running MS 6.0 on XP.

I also see only a box on your home page, using MSIE6-SP1 under XP. It may depend on the specific character you use - some of the ones Janeth posted I see only as boxes - on her site, sometimes loading the page I saw a star or other symbol, somtimes just a box. I never actually saw the arrow...

No idea why this occurs but I guess it tells me that maybe it isn't reliable enough to take the risk that it may end up with your site being penalized.

Thanks Minstrel,

I'll take it off. I didn't even see Janeth's site and the characters she was using. In fact, I didn't see anyone's except for a box on mine. Oh well...Janeth, maybe in a couple weeks/months you could give us an update on your symbols...if your site got penalized or how well it continues to do. All in all, I think it's a great idea, but I just couldn't see it like others did.

You desperately need a middleman. Send me your banking information and I'll act as your broker. Heck, forget about the banking information, just send me your credit card number.

Just in case this deal works out, bear in mind that I get several more offers just like it in the mail every day! We'll all be rich! Share the wealth, that's my motto!

Hi Janeth,

If you can't see the effect try doing a search from http://www2.google.com. ie.

http://www2.google.com/search?hl=en&...=Google+Search

1st time I tried on www. the effect wasn't there.

I'm definitely going to try it!

As to your money offer, see http://www.419eater.com

Thanks simonm,

I FINALLY get to see the arrow. Great idea Janeth! The wierd part is that I did a regular google search too and now it came up. And, I know there was no cache', since I dumped my temp internet files. Well, I guess it's like google, one day it's up and another day it's not!

Hey Jen!

We also tried the thing with arrows and blocks. It looks like you can draw more traffic. But talk about conversion and you have a big thumb of Devil. I dont know but it looks like everybody knows the trick but nothing monetary-wise.

Looks like we're thriving in Fools Paradise..................

I also tried to apply the arrow to the <title> on my homepage. Strange thing is, that it only works with Google.com

http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&i...conk+webdesign

When I search with Google.nl (Dutch) I get 3 question marks ???:

http://www.google.nl/search?sourceid...conk+webdesign

No didn't try, I'll try that later. Thanks for the tip.

But don't you think it is strange that it works with Google.com and not with Google.nl?

Most of my visitors use Google.nl, so I would really prefer the situation that it works with alll searchengines, because the 3 questionmarks have just the opposite effect. The arrow will stimulate people to click, but the ??? will avoid that. It looks like there's an error or something.

Don't you agree?
