Does anyone have any idea how long/how many page results it would take before the "Did you mean:" alert will stop showing up.
We are trying to target a new keyword term that has zero search results except for our website. However, currently Google also alerts the user with the "Did you mean:" tag for a different keyword. Any ideas what it will take for this to go away? |

To clarify:
We are coining a new hybrid term for which no results appear in Google. We have registered the .com domain of this hybrid term, and now when you search Google, there is one result, our parked domain. However, because it is a hybrid term and there are so few results (just us), Google assumes that this was a misspelling of the root word in our hybrid, and alerts with the "Did you mean:" notice with the root word. I'd like to know how many results it will take for Google to recognize this new hybrid term as the intended search term, and not a misspelling of the root word. An example would be searching seosource, Google alerts with Did you mean: shoesource Similarly, if you search two words as one (webpro instead of web pro) Google often alerts with the "Did you mean: web pro". How long does it take for Google to recognize these two words as a new keyword and not try to correct the spelling? Sorry my first post may not have been clear enough. |
