... anyone have an idea when we'll see one?

From what I can tell from the SEO information given in this forum, my site should be moving up drastically but it isn't. I've got 100 IBL (up from about 20), a listing in DMOZ and GG dir, and a current PR of 4, yet I haven't broke the top 50 yet. The #1 site for the keyword "dri wash" isn't listed in DMOZ, and has only 36 IBL, yet has a PR of 5.

I'm hoping that with the PR update, I'll get on the 1st page - is that reasonable thinking?

Its probably already happened several times internally at Google and taken into account in the search results.

As for when the public update happens - who knows when it will be. But, as usual, when it happens it will be meaningless as the search results will already reflect the updated PR.

Ignore the backlinks in Google, they are even more meaningless than a public PR update.

go to yahoo and check the incoming links for that site since Yahoo returns a more accurate result set. Then try and get those sites to link with you also using the keywords you are targeting in the anchor text.

358 links for my site, 185 for theirs.

Hopefully it is "dri wash". According to Word Tracker and Overture, the two word term is searched on more.'

I notice you are #1 in google for "driwash".

In your link exchanges is your anchor text "driwash" or "dri wash". This could be the reason you return #1 for "driwash" and not for "dri wash".

Also, use www.gorank.com to analyze the top 10 sites in google for the keyword, then analyze your page and compare.

Yes, it's "dri wash" that I'm competing for.

I just started getting IBL with my company name as "dri wash solutions" rather than "driwash solutions", so I suppose I just have to wait a little longer.

Well, because at one point, I wanted an unbiased answer to a post, and didn't want my account name/sig to skew the answers.
