Default PageRank Disappeared?

To: Anybody
Came in Last Friday and checked my google listings and my main page dropped to 3rd page (have been page 1 lising 6 all year) and then checked pagerank and is "Zero" has been 5/10 since Google started Pagerank ... any help would be appreciated.

Yes, it's not unusual to see fluctuations. The Google toolbar does experience buggyness from time to time also.

Don't panic just yet

cyanide and teleconnect:

This is not a normal PR fluctuation and it is not a Google toolbar problem.

See http://www.webproworld.com/viewtopic...=136459#136459.

I just looked and it is a PR5 here.

Most of the time you need the whole URL. You didn't check it like this http://teleconect.com/ did you?

Google will in time figure out that both versions of the URL are the same thing, Ken, as it has in this case. But you are correct about the PR5 - that's what I'm seeing for this site now too.

My competitor (who dropped from PR4 to PR3 in the last real update and then disappeared into PR0 for the home page only) is not as lucky - that one is still PR0.
