Default Who Are GOOGLE's Customers?

Relentlessly, I have seen the question posed in different forums, and never seen it answered!. Who Are GOOGLE's Customers? As Webmaster of several clients and my own company it's very easy for me to turn a client toward another Hosting Company or Search Engine... Who are their customers?

The customers are always those who pay the $'s....regardless of the industry.

In Google's case, its the Adwords customers and the other search engines (eg AOL) that pay Google for the results.

It the same as who is the customer of the TV station? - its not the viewer, its the advertiser. The sole purpose of commercial TV is to deliver an audience for the advertsier.

Its the same with Google - they want to get as many searchers, gmail users, etc as possible to use Google to serve Adwords to, so Google's customers pay them. They depend on doing that by trying to provide the best search results so searchers come back, in the same way that the TV station wants to show the best programs to get more viewers, so advertisers pay more.

I agree, but I feel you have left out perhaps Google largest customer base, the searchers. These are the ones that click all the AdWord and Adsense ads and (be it indirectly) pass $$ onto Google.
