hi, I started a site for freelance programmers in spanish, and as it was going quite well, I translated it also to English! but... that part of the site does not appear yet in google! :(
any help??

I suspect that this is the same problem I have with madur.at The english part does appear in time, but it will never get high in the results unless I am completely wrong. I am going for a separate site for the English section, hosted in an English speaking country.

and it has passed like a week since we have it in english, any suggestion to promote my site?

it doesn't appears neither! :( but I think it happends the same that the english part, as we started those two languages on the same day! :)

Two weeks is nothing. It took over 4 weeks for my index page to get indexed, and that is the only one up to now (about 6 weeks). Just a tip, get rid of the spelling mistakes on the entry page. They make a bad impression. If you go to the Search Engine forum, you will find a huge list of directories to list your site in. This will give you some links to the English pages. I do not believe you will be successful with the page hosted in Spain. This is just my opinion, but, if you look at Search engine insiders you will dfind evidence towards it. Get a dot co dot uk and a dot pt and then try again.
