How do I remove duplicate indexes from google?

Ok on my previous post I said I had duplicate pages with really duplicate content, just with different layout...

It had to do with my search engine friendly indexing... since I have fixed it, and now there should be no duplicate pages or content.

BUT google has found the duplicate pages, how get google to drop those pages or will they drop on their own?

Use robots.txt to block the duplicate pages.
