Default Do I only link to our Links page from the homepage?

Hi,

I was wondering if I should only have a link to our Links directory from our homepage...vs. from a couple dozen pages throughout the site like it is now.?
Will this help with the PR of our links pages?

Thanks in advance.

Yes, you should link as many pages to the links page as possible. This will help spread PR around your site. In fact, it's not a bad idea to link every page to every page. But just don't over-do it, because if you have too many pages then it won't look good to the humans who visit your site.

As well as spreading PR around, it will also be helpful to your visitors. ....especially considering that we only build sites for visitors and not search engines :-)

It depends on what your objectives are. If you want a high PR on your links page at the possible expense of lower PR elsewhere then link as many of you site pages to it as you can. But if you want to build the PR of your homepage instead then don't divert so much to the links page.

By all means build you site for visitors, but don't forget the search engines if you want to be ranked well.
