Default Google cache of my site displays page incorrectly

Hello
My site www.silverjewelrycompany.net is on Yahoo,MSN, Lycos etc but does not rank with any significance in Google. When I look at Googles cache
of my site;
http://64.233.161.104/search?q=cache...pany.net&hl=en

it displays the graphics on the left side of the page incorrectly. Is this why I am not ranked in Google??? I don't even know why it looks this way??

Can anyone help???
I would appreciate it.
Thank you
jewelryseller

Hello jewelryseller,

Google does not read your site the same as you view it. Google reads the html code from top to bottom and then evaluates it's content. As far as pictures google only cares that they are good working links to a picture. The same as having good links to all pages on your site.

There are many other things that google does when reading your page. I won't go into it all.

Your site:

Link Popularity: You have a link popularity of 1
Title: Unique Wholesale Sterling Silver Jewelry Online from Silver Jewelry Company.net(the title is way to long)
Keywords: one of your key phrases were "Unique Sterling silver jewelry" (no one will ever use that as a search term - 4 words is overkill)
Description: Unique Sterling Silver gemstone jewelry celtic and balinese sterling silver jewelry including silver pendant necklaces, silver gem stone earrings, silver bracelets and silver bridesmaids jewelry with amethyst aqua aura garnet citrine mabe pearl pearl peridot and more gemstones
(this is just my rule - don't use your keywords more than one time in your description. a description is not a speech it's a percentage of words needed against ones not needed)
Quote:
Note: people have this absurd idea that you have to beat the search engine over the head with keywords to get anywhere. it's so untrue.
--------------------------------------------------
revamping the site.
Title: "Sterling Silver Jewelry"
Description: Sterling Silver Jewelry blah blah whatever you want
First text in the code that is readable also on the page: Sterling Silver Jewelry

Promotional help at google:
Do searches on google for sites that show up for "sterling" , "Silver" , and "Jewelry" get link at as many of these sites as possible. This helps tell google that this is what you are about and promotes your association with these keywords. To list yourself on just any website only tells google that you might as well be an Auction site selling Mickey mouse watches for the blind.

You have an error in your code.
On line 197 it reads </form></td>
Change this to </form></table></td>

I better not tell anymore than I have already.
Good luck in all you do,
David Smith

This is not the reason for your lack of ranking, it is simply caused by Google appending the code for the box that they add to the start of your html document.

At a glance, the G toolbar reports your site as PR0......you need to get some inbound links (preferably with your key phrase in the anchor text). With this done you can worry about the on page issues raised above and should be able to rank better in G.
