The easiest way it to do a site:mysite.com search in google. If your site is listed in the index than it is not banned, if your site is not listed then it is possible that it has been banned. Also if the google PageRank goes to zero and the links into the site haven't this is a definate sign that the site may have been banned. There is no list or anything that google puts out to tell you if you are banned.

When cheked using site:www.site.com, i saw just the site name but with no title or description. So it means the site is not banned. isn't it? May be the site is still not crawled by Google...

And the page rank is Zero.

pls let me know wht does it mean?

If the said site is banned... how to bring it bck to normal?

Thanks

Thats not a ban. That is what Google calls 'partially indexed'
This means that Google knows about the URL and has not crawled the site or had trouble crawling it last time the bot visited.

Your site is definitely not banned. I agree on 'the partial indexation'. Nevertheless if the situation last longer than a couple of weeks it could be that your homepage has a blocking point. In that case you should check the follwing issues:

- Check your html code on syntax errors.
- Don't use javascript for your menu structure
- Be careful with flash animations
- Check your meta tags

Good luck!
