livelong in the cache?

Hallo,

I realized, that the very first and early version of our start page is still in the google cache, not very nice for visitors.
How can I get it out, or changed with the new version?

Is the file still on your server? As in "index.asp"? If so, do a 301 redirect to the new index page and after a while delete or move the old page.

At any rate, once the old file has been moved or deleted with no inbound links, it should eventually fall out of the index.

If it has been several months and the page is still in the index, contact google and ask them to remove the old page.
