Did you raise the bid amount? How could cost per click for you adwords double if you have a maximum bid? What is your maximum bid and what are you being charged? I haven't noticed any changes in my avg CPC.

I have been running the Google AdWords for months now. My bid is still the same. Cost per Click is still $10 max. My click through rate average over 15% for all key terms. Everything is doing good.

What I did so was that I increase my Overture bid constantly and on Monday or Tuesday, I increase my CPC to a very high amount.

Does google determine the cost per click by comparing this with Overture?

Google is totally independant from overture. The reason that your CPC went up, must have been that your competitors have increased their max CPC, or more people have started advertising for that search term.
