How often does Google upload images to Google images

I have a resonably well ranked site in Google, and have just done the all required things as others have suggested. I would just like to know, how long should it take before I can see them on Google images?

This will depend on several things...

Have you labeled the images accordingly (using a name and not numbers)?

Do the images have a well described alt-text?

Can the images be found easily by googles bots?

If the answer to these are yes, then your images will start to appear soon. I have uploaded new images to some of my clients sites and within a few weeks they are high in the images results.
