Default Gmail account are sold for $50 to $150 - Crazy

People who want's to get a Gmail Account because all good names will be soon taken are ready to pay for it $50 to $150, so some Gmail account owners can send an invitation to anyone and they sale it on Ebay (This invitation is limited in time and numbers as Google want to have a 2nd wave of beta testers)

See link on ebay :
http://search.ebay.com/search/search...rt&query=gmail

It's a bit crazy since it will be free, but sure you'll get email like (Yahoo or Hotmail) 012233yourname@gmail.com

I haven't seen any Gmail account sold for less than $50.00 on Ebay
So if Google ask for $25.00 fee for a 1gig of Email account I m sure people will still subscribe it. And if they will have over Million of subscribers .... they miss huge money income by giving it free.

1) By charging they would also weed out the low-income users, not a good demographic for their ads.

2) On the other hand, by not charging they would gather a much larger base upon which to sell ads, and would get more good will from the public.

I think Google will choose option two. In the past they have shown great restraint when it comes to choosing long-term gains over a quick buck. We shall see.

Well, I wont be signing up, what with all this fiasco with "privacy" invasion...

Besides, most ppl sign-up to ''free'' email servers just to send spam - I have my own mail server and all I saw was masses of same messages to different email addresses in my out-queue/bounced logs. So I closed access to the public now.

Theres my 5p's worth of input.
