I thought members would like to know that, after an email, google adsense replied that they were making changes to allow better functionality for webmasters and hoped to institute this change as soon as possible.

The change would mean that webbies can filter out keywords and not just site URL's. Yay!

My site, offering screensavers, has always made a prominent point of being spyware free. Yet, week after week, and then day after day, i was filtering so many screensaver sites due to their spyware, just as a service to my visitors, that it was becoming a full time job.

I wrote to google about my problem, and as a consequence, how I was now forced to remove adsense on each page, rather than increasing them. I also suggested a keyword filter would enable me to stay in their program.

Their reply stated that they were fully aware of the problem this posed and were currently working on a keyword filter as a major update.
