Default How to tell the position of your ads based on your set Cost Per Click (CPC)?

Hey so I'm just wondering if anyone has the best way of determining the best way to find out the position of your ads based on your cost per click (CPC) without having to test the ad positions by doing a search?

OK I did find, in Google Analytics, under Traffic Sources / Adwords / Keyword Positions the ability to see the position of your ads based on ads that were clicked on from your selected keywords...

I presume that data is only displayed after a searcher has clicked on your ad. For the other keywords I'm competing for, if my ads displayed but weren't clicked on, there is no data indicating their position in the sponsored links.

I have checked the position of my ads manually by typing them into the search box but I'm sure there must be another way to check the position your ads based on all your keywords.

I think there is an option in google adwords "tools" section to check the position of ads according to the geographical area...

I think the position is kind of vary. You can't be sure 100% that the analytics will give you the most accuracy data.

ya I actually couldn't believe the information was right in front of me. It's right there with the rest of the columns (ie. CPC, CTR etc.)...

Thanks for your input though.
