I wanted to share an article i found on searchengineland.com regarding how google is showing conversions when someone sees your ad but does not click on your ad AND buys within 30 days.
Adwords has also added a "View-through Conversions" column but the best thing to do is read the whole article here: Google Shows Ad Conversions Without Clicks

Very interesting...
So it applies only to 'creatives' on the content network? Just as well otherwise some of my clients would be seeing a hell of a lot of extra 'conversions'. I wonder if this counts towards how many conversions you need in a set period before you can enable CPA bidding?

Not visible on any of the AdWords accounts to which I have access.
The reason would seem to be found at What's View-through conversion tracking, and why should I use it for my campaign? - AdWords Help "Important note: View-through conversions are not reported for search campaigns or for text creatives in content campaigns."

I've always found that you need an alternative view to verify whether what Google Adwords reports as a conversion is really a conversion. On a typical B2B campaign generating 100-200 leads per month I might a variance of around 5%.
