Default How do you detect PPC fraud?

My company is currently reworking our ability to manage our online marketing programs. I want to include more to track potential click fraud.

How do you determine if you are getting bogus clicks and what do you do about it?

Default As far as Google

One of the biggest click frauds happens a lot with Google. Since they show their ads on individual websites, a few webmasters click on these ads to drive up their own profit. A way to prevent this is to toggle the ads so that they are only shown on the Google search engine...

Default How do you this?

How do you set your ads to only show up on the search and not in ads on other sites? Are the ads on other sites what "content targeting" refers to?

Thanks,
Stephanie

Default hmmmm

There are programs that will track visitor urls... I use KeywordMax but there are plenty of others.

You can also look at your log files... see if there is a large number of visits coming from one IP or through one site and then check how they are.

At the campaign level select edit campaigns and in the top right hand side of the box you will see search network and content network... deselect the content network...
You can also narrow languages and countries to avoid ads running where you cannot service.
