Where have Google adverts gone?

I was updating one of my sites when all of a sudden all the Google adverts vanished.

I looked at a different site-not one I own- and all of their Google adverts had gone, too.

I looked back at my site and noticed one block had come back, but two were missing.

This was with Firefox and the AOL browser, so it showed up with different browsers.

Any idea what is happening?

Well do you have content available to trigger AdSense to post relevant ads?

I do have suitable content, as did the other site.

The odd thing was that the spaces where the adverts should go was empty on both sites. None of the "default" adverts that Google uses.

Later on one set of adverts re-appeared, then next morning all was back to normal on both sites.
