Hi, i decided to try adwords as i always used other sources to get clicks. So, i opened an account with 50 dollars as they recommend for starters. The system changed it to 150$ Argentine Money as im from Argentina (although i want to operate in dollars). Now, ive set up the banner and the amount per click: .16 US Dollars (.50 Argentine Money). The keyword is basically Iphone, not alone of course but many variables.
I got a message that i had to change the ad's description as i had included an invalid word (iphone Hacks) so i went into my account and simply change it for Iphone Tricks. Its been a week now and my ads are not showing. So i have some questions to more experienced adwords users: - Is my ad paused because its being reviewed again? - Is my ad not showing because the amount per click is too low so im no competition? If so, what amount should i put? Thanks, fuser

Use the custom columns link and add the quality column. That may give you some additional information.

Quote:
If a Keyword is "Paused" owing to an insufficient Bid, i.e. less that Google's currently required "Minimum," such will also be clearly displayed. You can determine whether or not a particular Keyword is being displayed by hovering over the Magnifying Glass that is displayed in the Keyword column, to the upper-right of each Keyword. If your Ad(s) and/or Keywords are not Paused, and you have selected the correct geographical area, and you are viewing the results for said area, then it is the case that your bid(s) is(are) too low relative to those of other advertisers. __________________________________________________ ________________________

Iphone is a registered trademark...you're not supposed to use the trademarked word Iphone in your ads...maybe that's why Google is not showing your ad...they do have a trademark policy.

So is every other major brand name that is trademarked and advertised via adwords.
Check your ad and make sure you saved the changes to remove "hack". If so then IMO they have not approved your ad yet. Try another change and save then give it a day or so. If the ad still isn't showing check your settings then contact adwords and ask for help.
