Minimum Bids $10
I consider myself a Adwords expert (I have 2 Google fridges) but I am completely lost on this and Google will not give me a clear answer.
We own a network of review sites, everything from software to online dating ... about 50 sites all under the same domain. ALL the content is unique, written in house and updated frequently and we have been around over two years.
Last week some of the main keywords were hit with Raise Bid to $10. Now the odd part that we have never received an answer on is that most of these keywords had 2% plus CTRs, many in the 6-8% range. This is all very targeted stuff and has been very succesful for almost 2 years.
My rep never had a clear answer after she went to the tech department. She indicated something about the information can be found elsewhere. Really, I never received a clear answer.
I have posted on other forums about this and the only this I am omitting is that we have 3 domain names all with identical content, just variations of the actual name. (ex. domainname.com, domainnames.com domain-names.com). The reasons we do this is first I always buy all variations but we got into a situation where we were testing layouts and would do it on the variations. Over time, even on Google Adwords and in organic, ALL three get picked up. This is my fault.
This morning we did some back-end work and we no longer use the 2nd and 3rd domain name and everything redirects appropriately to the main name. So we will no longer have this issue of what could be considered duplicate content.
Now, the question is could this be the reason that we got the Raise Your Bid on very successful keywords? And how/who do I speak with at Google to rectify the issue?
I appreciate the help ahead of time.
Thanks,
Arthur
