Default Product Specific Adverts

Cant believe I have been visiting this forum for about 18 months and this is my first post, so best start by saying hi.

Just a quick question, I am currently refining an adwords campaign which currently has category specific adverts, such as bathroom products, kitchen products etc. I would like to refine the ads to be products specific, soap dish, shower curtain etc.

The only way I can see to do this is to set up seperate ad groups for each product which seems very time consuming. Is there a way to specify a specific advert to a keyword the same way that you can add a specific landing page?

You can add multiple ad variations to an AdGroup and AdWords will select the best perfoming ad text for each keyword.

This way you can use more general AdGroups to rotate your ad's rather than many AdGroups using an individual ad.

Cheers for the reply

I have spent the last few days researching and have found a way to dynamically insert the keyword searched for into the advert itself (something Google dont seem to tell you anywhere). With that I have moved all my product specfic search terms into their own ad group which displays the search term (the product name) into the ad title and text. Which is basically what I wanted but without having to create individual ads for each product.

My CTR is already showing a 1.5% improvment for this group. So figures crossed.
