Hey
Is there a way for me to see where my Google network (Content Total) clicks are coming from? Is this type of information available in either AdWords or Analytics? I would like to see which specific sites have displayed my ad and generated a click. Thanks Mark |

A good analytics program should show you it. My largest client uses Webtrends, but there are lots out there.
Depends on if the software will allow campaign tracking or not. Then you can "set a tracker" and then see where that ad is clicked on, and track that visitor through your site.

Yonder,
I use and recommend Statcounter. This shows exactly which engine has been used to reach your site.

I can stand by statcounter too- I've tried addfreestats and it has too much confusing junk on the pages. StatC is better
But I think maybe you're looking for something that only an 'adsense tracker' will give you, like the program by that name or ASRep.

adsense tracker can help you track your own site's click, but can't track other site's click.

ya now that I read it again, I see what the question was- it was "can I find out on which content sites my ads are getting click on"? Is that right? I don't know of any way to find this out.
AdWords doesn't even let you control bids for indiv keywords for the content network unless you create a separate content network only campaign with the same keywords. If you want more control tho, you could go the site-targeted route- you can choose the sites, but then you're paying for impressions, and that's much harder to get positive ROI on.

Hi Mark,
The way it works is google looks at your keyword list and compares those keywords to the text of all the websites that are participating in google adsense. Google is trying to match your website with the best fit using your keywords. Once google finds these content-related sites then you start receiving content impressions on those sites. Unfortunately google doesn't have a feature that allows you to see which sites your content ads have been displayed on or which keywords were used. Hopefully, in the future they will add these features.
