Default Getting paid?

I haven't been an AdSense member long, and my site, www.fanent.com, doesn't get much traffic, but I've already logged up a few dollars from AdSense.

I couldn't find anywhere in their documentation about their payment schedule -- whether I have to have a certain amount in my account or whether they pay once a quarter, or what.

Does anyone know how often/when you've accumulated how much AdSense pays?

Thanks,
Susan Moore

Susan

Log into Adsense and go to Accounts You should find the following message: -

Quote:
Note: You will receive a check for your account balance within 30 days of the end of every calendar month that your earnings amount to $100 or more. We will also pay out all accounts at the end of the year, regardless of balance.
Also, be careful about putting out stats and earnings regarding Adsense. Their contract forbids it.

Good Luck

Thanks for the info. I was careful not to give specifics.

BTW, is AdSense not working today? None of my pages are displaying the ads. I hope I haven't done something wrong...

I don't really think anyone can expect to be paid for September yet as it states in the policies that checks will be made thirty days after the end of the month.

I know not to give out specifics on my account, but I was very pleased to receive a check from AdSense recently.

My site draws very little traffic, and it was encouraging to see that enough people visited -- and clicked through -- to bring in a little change.

Default Adsense

Adsense is awesome for hobby sitesand I have made a lot of money but there seems to be some considerable limits to the amount of money you can make in the long run. Don't count on Adsense for anything but some nice supplemental income for your hobby site. I say this because I am making less money now with Adsense while my site is generating considerable targeted traffic -- gone from hobby to ecommerce level / supersite in the past 6 months / traffic has tripled with all kinds of new quality content. Just don't expect Adsense to grow with you beyond a certain point (I won't mention numbers). In other words you will see nice increases to a certain point but then it levels off and may even drop to record lows -- there is no set rate like other advertisers may offer. The other advertisers I use have steadily grown with me , e.g. as my traffic increases so do profits. Adsense is stagnant at best now.

Thanks for this article -- I agree Adsense is nothing more than a gold rush. I think it will last a while since it does great for smaller sites.
