Default I love AdSense!

My husband and I run a niche site for classic cars. In the past we've tried PPC offers, leads, commissions, etc. Made nada. Not to mention finding targetted advertising for this market was *very* difficult, ie impossible.

The site is for his hobby, it's a baby born of our mutual passions (his cars, mine design), so we paid out of pocket for the hosting and bandwidth and built up a decent content rich site.

With Adsense we have actually made money and will *actually* recieve money at some point in the future. With all the other campaigns and such we never saw a check, because the CTR was so low and the min payouts were so high.

While we won't get rich on this program (on this site) it feels good to know that the site can pay for itself now...at least hosting and domain costs. :D

If you have niche site with lots of content, AdSense might just do the trick for ya!

Congrats. I know how you're feeling. I have a little site that was started as a service to internet users (www.xpsc.net) and as such I didn't have much other than time to spend on it. Now with AdSense I am finally able to get a small ROI from the site and slowly working towards the first $100.

Agreed - I have two large content/community sites www.equine-world.co.uk and www.petwebsite.com

Although both have done well with advertising networks, adsense surpasses them by far!

I would have to second or third or watever this post. I just recently learned of this. Will have to thank webproworld for that( thanks guys). I applied yesterday and was immediately accepted for my site at http://www.dynamicvb.net. I have played around with various affilate programs and never made any real money, but I will get a book occassionally from amazon or a small check from commission junction, but I am just amazed at what this appears to be doing after only one day. That site does a fair amount of traffic, but its not really anything to brag about, but it appears that I may have just found a way to pay my hosting fees.

Default Adsense is working for me

I have learned about Google Adsense very recently. I have applied for my search engine http://Guugul.com but it was rejected because Google does not allow adsense on any search engine. I have also few other sites for community. I have applied and got approved.
Now I have added Adsense on these sites http://www.canton-mi.com and http://www.shop8now.com/tax. I have looked at my adsense report and am very happy that I will make money from this program.

Agreed! I've run a travel site for 5 years now. Started from scratch. Learned html myself, and put in countless thousands of hours getting content, and making things work.

I've tried on-line shopping by the truck load, and just about every money making program I could find. NONE ever generated a dime !! I put up some hotel links and was making about $50 every two months or so, but still this barely paid for the sites fees.

I ran across adsense and figured I had nothing to lose. It's been up for the last 4 months, and now not only has paid the site fees for the LAST 5 YEARS, but has bought me a new computer, and PAID MY HOUSE RENT for 12 months !! (and I'm currently in my SLOW traffic months!!)

My site gets traffic seasonally, so I can hardly wait until the busy season hits !!!

Default Bravo AdSense

I run an ex-pat site for Dutch and Canadian ex-pats and from the very first day of joining AdSense, I've been actually making money.
If the trend I see on my site continues, than the AdSense revenues will pay a large part of my hosting costs this year.
As far as I am concerned, AdSense rules! ;-)

I also like Adsense. Quite a big percentage of my sites earnings come directly from Adsense. But I also earn quite a bit of cash from other affiliates.

Most of my other affiliate earnings come from:

PPC Search Engines followed by Residual Income programs.

Default Doing well out of adsense

I do quite well out of adsense, my site http://www.silverballs.co.uk does well for me on adsense. I think what I have in common is that my site is also a labour of love and the web is short on original content.

I agree with your sentiments wholeheartedly. Not only is AdSense giving all us publishers some relevant ads (which is great) but it's also paying very well. Far more than you'd get from any banner ad sales or clicks.

AdSense was a stroke of genius for Google... do we know precisely who was behind it?

Default Adsense Rocks!!!

Adsense let's you monetize just about any site.

Basically, it's a way to pay the freight of running a website.

You can pretty much figure on making $10 for each 500 to 1,000 visitors.

That's $300 per month. Not bad really when you consider that over 3 BILLION people do not make that much in a whole year.

The really cool thing is that if you can make the $300, you should have $200 to spend on generating more traffic.

Find a complementary affiliate program that
is honest, makes sales and fits with your traffic and genrates just one sale per day on average and you can easily get the site revenue close to $1,000 per month.

Go Adsense to cover your costs and one or two good affiliate deals and you have a decent home based business.
