Default maximum revenue with my new Adsense-project

i would like your opinion on my new project:
a new website about webhosting - SEO - making money on the internet.

MY GOAL: writing a quality website and gaining money with Google adsense.

FACT: i am a Dutch speaking Belgian guy, living in Brazil, trying to make a living on the internet.

QUESTION: i'm wondering if i should write the site in Dutch - targetting de Dutch speaking part of Belgium and The Netherlands, or in English - targetting probably the whole world.

I would like you opinion on this, regarding getting visitors in an organic way
(without using Google Adwords), and regarding making money through Google Adsense.

Dutch pros: less keyword competition in a .be or .nl domain, so easier SEO marketing.
Dutch cons: target public is limited.

English pros: target public is huge
English cons: big keyword competition in a .com domain, so difficult SEO marketing.

I also take in consideration that Adsense-ads for english keywords pay generally more than ads for Dutch keywords, again because english keywords are more competitive and advertisers will pay more for them. One big remark on this is the following: high or good paying english keywords like "WEBHOSTING" or "SEARCH ENGINE OPTIMIZATION" are the same in Dutch, since they are general computer-terms and they are used in almost every language (i'm not talking about the French, have you ever seen a John Wayne western dubbed into French? brr... ). This would mean that my Dutch website would display english (better paying) ads, probably mixed with Dutch ads. Correct me if i'm wrong.

Do the site in Dutch. Write as much good information as you can and try and rank the site for all the keywords you can.

Janeth you are right.

Gert Leroy you must follow her advice if you want to earn more revenue. Do proper consideration on your local language and then use the tools to translate the pages via Google Language tools and also put these services on your website. So International Visitors can have language choice more than 1.

My suggestion is to do it bilingual, I have done that with my 2 websites and in one of them for Argentina, 15% of the trafic prefers the English pages, the other one for the Balearics, 60% prefer the English pages.

Regards
Javier

Hello Gert,
You may also want to try diversifying your ad streams .. just thinking out of the box.
so instead of just doing adsense - plan to add other networks as well ..
