Totally new to Adwords/Adsense, marketing on the net period!
Can someone PLEASE help?
I'm not rich, not by a long shot, and I can't necessarily afford to a)shell out big $$ to a company who "promises" to help me with my ads, or b)just keep trying and trying until I "get it right". I also realize that I'm not going to get anything for free, and I don't expect that.
But, I would like to find someone who'd be willing to maybe "partner" with me to help me get things off the ground? A split on profits, with me covering the upfront expenses(as long as they're not outrageous of course!) to get good traffic to my site.
My commissions on sales are fairly decent, and if someone can help me make more sales, then I'm MORE than willing to share in the profits.
If anyone is interested in something like this, and has good experience in, say Adwords, getting good responses, etc... Please email me.
My site should be up and running in the next day or so, and I'm hoping to then get an Adwords campaign started within a couple of days after that. Heck, is that being unreasonable? I don't even know that much.
Help?
Thanks!!

You should be able to set up your adsense campaign in a day, but I would take a day looking over articles on writing effective adwods copy, like this one:

Best of luck

What are you selling?
If you're really interested in having someone here help you, a basic synopsis of "This is the type of product, This many SKU's in This many product categories" would certainly help.
Brian.
P.S. Where's Duncan with the Perry Marshall plug?

Thanks!
I am hesitant to post exactly what it is here because I don't want to spam the forum.
But, I am looking to run a campaign to get customers for, as well as prospective associates for, an MLM service based business I'm in.
If it's ok to post the exact business, etc, here, I'm more than willing to do that.
I'm really hoping to find someone who's interested in partnering with me, and to whom I'd pay, in my opinion anyway, a pretty decent commission on sales generated. My commissions right now aren't at the highest level for this company, but they're not at the lowest either, and again in my opinion, pretty substantial. And, I'm willing to partner with someone just for their knowledge/experience. I know that's worth a lot, just meaning that I'm not asking any type of $$ partnership. I'll cover the expense side, and pay whomever a commission for their help in setting up the proper campaign(s).
Does this sound like something that would interest you? If it does, and you'd like more info, please email me at sleap13@adelphia.net and I'll be more than happy to give you the full details. If it's ok to post it here, I'll do that as well. :)
Thanks!
Shawn

You're right brian!
So take a look sleap at http://www.perrymarshall.com/adwords/?=sp
I'm not alone in thinking he knows more about Adwords than anyone else. Better still, you could end up not needing a partner at all.
Duncan
PS. I'm an unapologetically successful user of Adwords thanks to what I took the trouble to learn from Perry. (And no, he doesn't pay me to say this!)

Duncan...
Actually, I've looked at that, and to be honest, $49 is a cheap price to pay for good information. My question to you is, is there any "real" benefit to purchasing the $97 course instead? I mean, if all you're really getting are the MP3's, for me I'm not sure it's worth it, as I'm not much for listening to things like that anyway. Personally I like the written word much better. Is there more information with the audios? Something I won't get at all in the $49 package?
Personally, I don't care if you're making anything off the sale or not, and I don't care if Perry pays you... I am hoping though that you'll be honest.
Thanks!

What do you think of "JumpStart"?
I've read this thread with interest, as I'm also new to the concept of AdWords. I'm keen though to begin promoting my site (an online shop), but as economically as possible.
A search last night brought up this link and I wondered whether it's a good idea for someone like me or a waste of money at $299. http://services.google.com/marketing...jumpstart_more
I'd like to know what others think. Perhaps I'd be better off trying to create a campaign myself or to enlist the help - for a fee - of someone knowledgeable.
I recently ordered Brad Hill's "Building Your Business with Google: For Dummies". Some people have sworn by that book as well.
Any feedback much appreciated. Thanks!

Hi Donna and welcome to WPW.
I wopuld say if you have the time and motivation then you would be better to read eveything you can on here and on other sites and build you own campaign. Learning from your mistakes is usually the best way to make money as long as you can survive your own mistakes :)
However as all $299 goes towards advertising CPC (i.e you get $299 of clicks) if you just want a campaign then its not a bad spend. Unless you do it yourself and learn you will however run into problems when you want to manage or change your campaign or launch new products.

Thanks, Carju1. You make a valid point. In fact, today I've been reading the Brad Hill book. He does a good job of explaining, and takes the reader virtually step-by-step through the process of preparing a campaign. At the moment I'm working on optimising my site, in preparation. Still a fair bit to do before I'm ready for AdWords. (-:
