I do think it is important to ajust Google Ads color and place.
When I surf on the web, I almost never click the obvious Google Ads, but sometimes I click because I do not realize it is Google Ads, because it is adjusted to be consistent with the style of the site. So I tried my best to make Google Ads consistent with my forum's style. |

I've tried this as well, and it works very well. It's best to use your own site's colors--and match the border color of the ad with your page's background so the ad doesn't have a border.
