If anyone can help, I've got a few questions about the use of landing pages.

Does anyone here use landing pages to track their ad channels? Do you have any suggestions on how landing pages should be set up as far as keywords and text related to the offering? Is it necessary or just advantageous for the landing page to be picked up by the search engines? How much information or what offers do you include on the landing page before directing the visitor to the main offer? And finally, do you attempt to close and complete the order on the landing page?

I'd appreciate any and all input.
