Google adwords gives you the ability to target your ads in different countries e.g. UK only.
But are you missing out on valuable traffic by selecting one country only?
For example: if a surfer's ISP is based in the USA but the surfer is physically in the UK and they visit google.com, does Google assume they are a US based surfer and therefore not show your UK ad?
I say this because my ISP is on satellite broadband so if I go to Google.com it thinks I am in the ISP's country, not the UK which I actually am.
I'm no techie but I think I may be losing traffic by not choosing to show my ad in (big example) the USA.
Thoughts anyone?
