The Effective CPM is calculated as follows:
Your earnings / Page impressions x 1000 For example: Your earnings: $2.70 Page Impressions: 958 270 / 958 = 0.2818... 0.2818... x 1000 = 282 ($2.82) I think the effective CPM is useful and gives people (well me at least) a drive/motivation to get more visitors and make more click to make more money! Hi AlexDP,
thanks for the explanation. I will give some more attention and see if it will help for my advertisment. |

Hey XMX,
Don't forget to change the Adsense colours and see if this makes a difference to your CTR. Good luck!

Yeah - that really does have an affect. After changing the colours and choosing a different ad size, my CTR went from around 1-2% to 3-4%.
Still need more traffic though to start earning big-bucks! But thats a different story... Alex |

Alex, good to know some of this stuff works elsewhere other than just inside my brain. :)
