Default Adwords ads not displaying !

Hi there,
I have a quick question for you, I have just set up a campaign for an online gambling platform. My question to you is why is the ad not being displayed when I type in a keyword ?

For example, when I type in "casino gambling" in google.co.uk (Campaign is based in the UK) there is only one adword ad and its not mine !! I'm a bit confused ? Anyone know why this is ?

On another note I have two other questions, when I add keywords and click on estimate I get estimates for clicks per day of <1 when the keyword used is really popular! Anyone know why ?

Lastly, when I add keywords and click on save some disseapear for some reason ! Any ideas why ?

Thanks for your help !

Couple things about gambling ads in the Google adwords...

If target any gambling keywords, then your campaign will not go live right away. It will have to go through a manual approval process, which can take up to 3 days. However, if you just call them, it happens pretty quickly.

You said you were targeting the UK market, which is fine, but if you are trying to see your ads when viewing from a US IP address, then you won't be able to see them. Google's ads only show to those in the UK.

And of course, Google no longer accepts gambling ads in the US market? but you probably no that already.
