Default Am I allowed to have duplicated campaigns targeting different url's?

I was wondering if it's possible to have a duplicated adwords campaign (the same used to track different geotargeting or content) on the same adwords account, or on different accounts, where the only difference in the campaigns is the target url.

I was indeed wondering if it's possible, respecting google's rules, to have 2 ads that show up on the same keyword query, so that the searcher can see 2 of my adwords ads, in 2 different positions on the same page, where the first ad points to mysite.com and the other one points to myothersite.com.

This can be the case where i am, at the same time, promoting 2 sites that are in competition with each other. Can also be the case where myothersite.com have the same or similar content as mysite.com and I might be doubling my adwords exposure by doing so.

Is this possible? What if my 2 campaigns are on different adwords accounts?

Thanks for sharing your opinions, have nice day.

Competing with yourself. Something is wrong in my ears. Semantics and content is IMO the overall magnitude. I use overlapping information on my own sites, but that is because the surfer is the boss.

I would be careful with that. Personally I only use one account and the same code on different sites in my mini network. Google AdsenseBOT is intelligent enough to target the ad's to the content on the sites.

It's not like i woud be competing with myself, it may just be a way to get more clicks on adwords.

If I can hold position 1 and position 2 for the same keword search, there's a higher chance i can get that person's click.

In the end, most of the searchers will only click on a single adwords ad, if i can have more than one he's just more likey to click through one of mine.
