Hi All,
Was just wondering how Google calculates a Day as. For example, I use Google Adwords and Iam from India. When I try to run a report for "Yesterday", how will Google take it as ? Will it take US Timings or Indian Timings ? I have separate accounts where one is registered with US address and the other is registered under Indian address. So, will Google show US timings for the account that I created with US address and Indian timings for the account that I created with Indian address ?? Anyone throwing some light into this issue is greatly appreciated.

Here is a handy place that shows your time alongside US Pacific time
PST: Pacific Standard Time* (USA & Canada). What's the time now? In India you will be a good 13 1/2 hours ahead of google adsense time there. You cannot change the timezone of your adsense account, it will be pacific time wherever you are based https://www.google.com/adsense/suppo...k&answer=59143 |

But, for AdWords, one can select a Time Zone to be used for "all ad schedules, billing, and statistics for the account."
See Time Zone - AdWords Help Center

Yes...in the Account Preferences, it is given Time Zone where in, my account which is registered with US address is showing Pacific Time while the account which is registered with Indian address is showing Indian Standard Time (IST).
I think it means all the billing and reports would be according to the time zone we set ?? Is that right or is it still US Time only ?? hmm.....Incredihelp also said "I guess....." Looks like no one is sure of the answer ?? Maybe, I should post it with Matt Cutts ?? Ha!Ha!Ha!Ha!

Worldwide Time Zones can be selected. Carefully read all of the materials linked to the page at Time Zone - AdWords Help Center , as you can select your Time Zone one time only.

I know on my account (I'm in the UK) when I log in at say 7.30am in the morning GMT my account still has what I would call yesterdays data down as today.
Switches over around 8 - 9am GMT which would fit in nicely with the timezone link posted earlier for midnight pacific time. Dan |
