Default Quality scores?

Another question about adwords:

We have campaign level, adgroup level, keyword level and ad level.

Ideally we would like to have high CTR at all levels.

But lets say we had one campaign with two adgroups. One adgroup was high CTR, High Quality and low CPC but the other was the opposite, low CTR, low quality and high CPC.

At some point the ads would stop showing for the low quality adgroup.

The overall campaign report would suffer but would this lower the overall quality for the campaign in googles eyes.

Would this actually affect the other high quality adgroup? Would the other adgroup suffer? Would the campaign suffer?

What about keywords?

If we a bunch of keywords in the same adgroup and one was performing better than all the others would they affect the quality of the adgroup or would it only affect the quality of that keyword?

Or is it all down to individual keywords? Can one bad apple spoil the cart?

The more you learn the more you realize there's more to learn.

Thanks

Mike

One bad apple spoil the cart in the end.

There is adgroup QS, Campaign QS, and also Account QS. QS = Quality Score.

And all of these QS are connected with each other. I mean these are not independant actually in means of QS.

If you find something going very wrong in one adgroup (in one campaign) you should fix it. Otherwise your Google Adwords account may have cancer in the course of time. Like the human being.

Take care of your Google Adwords account as your dear pet or dear child )

I'd recommend you read Brad Geddes AdWords Quality Score Demystified.
That pretty much summons it all up and answers all of your questions...
