Advise for components to use.

Hi there,

My name is Oscar and I`m wanting to make a website using flash. However I lack the knowledge of all the flash components or Javascript to plan from start what I`ll need to do.

This way I thought about comming here and asking more experienced people for help to know wich components should I study and then implement in my website.

For the sake of easier comprehension here is a image from the initial design/idea

Ok, here is what I would like to do:
In Blue it would be a flash animated menu.
No secret so far...

Now, in RED there is something tricky (at least for me). I would like to have that "news" teamplate (date, that line image, the dark green table, the little weird drawing on the right and the text).

How could I make this? I know flash can make dynamic text boxes reading the content from a txt file, but I don`t know how to make a hole news template with images and tables like that. Also, probably I`ll want to add images and links int the text box.
Any ideas for that?

In GREEN there is another tricky thing that I don`t really know if it is possible. I would like to make a "old news" link. But I don`t know PHP or ASP, and to learn it would take really long time (and my server probably wont support it because I will search for a free one). But I`m wanting to learn some actionscripting and I`ve seen some pretty amazing things in flash already so I guess that it is possible to do that right ? Even the idea of an administration part of the site where I could add news without having to upload new files to the server.

(what I`m thinking is making the administrative part of the site in FLASH since I don`t know php or ASP).


Well, that`s it.
Have in mind that I`m open minded. I don`t need everything in flash. I thought about a HTML part for the news, but I don`t know how to do that too. I would have to learn the javascript needed or any other tool.

Just to sum up the components I`m needing to make the site:
1- component to make easy to update the news generating automaticly the template for each news.

2- online updater administration component

3- old news component.


I hope someone can help me.
