There are very few folks out there who have made paypal work with flash. My storefront is a solution that does. It uses the SOAP method, not NVP, but those are really just details...
Either way, it uses PayPal Pro U.S. and believe me, was a difficult process. Level Four Storefront - Flash Ecommerce, Flash Shopping Cart, Flash Storefront

Your soultion for PayPal Pro is impressive. I'v seen it mentioned in other forums. After sifting through countless forums and PayPal tech docs. I was able to run the NVP with Flash using the PayPal SDK. Now it's on to the Fedex API for somemore fun. Thanks for your response.

I agree, paypal is way overrated for what they do... the REALLY need a simpler solution. Authorize.net and others use 1 PHP file for their transactions... PayPal has all this complex logic. I understand it's good practice, but somewhere the extensability of it all is just to much for most people.
In my opinion, if they wrote a very simple API system that lots of developers could easily catch onto, they woudl increase their shopping cart integration and overall marketshare compared to what they have... I think in the end, the SOAP or NVP are really close, you just package up the variables and send with the URL rather than mine using a call... it's just so much stuff to sift through..
