Flash video - Only working in IE

Hi,

We've been recently experimenting with Flash video, however we can't seem to be able to get the video to work in any browser except IE! :(

I have made a sort of 'experiment' page with various methods of trying to get the Flash video to work, but only one of the methods works, and this is only in IE. The page can be found here:

My guess its something to do with the Embed tags, however Flash video has only been a recent addition to our website, so we are still trying to figure out what it can do etc.

Any help on the above would be greatly appreciated!

It runs fine in IE, tries to load in Firefox and I can see a part red border around the movie and it works in Opera too. Netscape doesn't even load the page here.

Apparently there are issues with Flash 8 in Firefox - I picked one out at random on a Google search:

It now works, but it uses the Embed tags which i have recently found out are not XHTML Compliant. Does anyone know a way to get the Flash video to play without using the embed tags?

I've been reading an article on "A List Apart": http://www.alistapart.com/stories/flashsatay/

though i can't seem to get it to work for my Flash video. The aforementioned article explains how Flash can be used without the Embed tags, though it ain't working! :(
