Default Small Flash image

I'm working on a site with a small Flash image:

French Ski Chalet

I'd like to chop the image in half, retaining the right side as a Flash movie and changing the left half into a jpeg, gif or even text block.

Anybody with experience of this sort of work.

Default .swf

grosolo,

I'm no expert but I according to the code its a .swf file. The file is controlled by the web designer. I'm optimising the site and just want to check out the feasibility of my proposal.
