Animated logo help sought

I'm using Flash MX to try and animate a logo that was given to me as an AI file. So I exported the curves and text as PNG files (since I find they give the least quality loss), drew up the Flash I wanted, and it looked okay in the Flash MX preview itself.

But when I go to export it, it looks like crap.

I know I can fix the text if I simply acquire the font (which I don't have, but if someone else does, could you send it this way please and thanks?)...but what would I do about the curve and the little ball at the top. Should I export them as something other than PNG? It's never caused any problems before.

I'm not sure if you ever got any help on this or not, but if you want to email me the .ai, I'll be glad to see what I can do with it.
