flash drop down menu and preloader target video

Hello...
I created a drop down menu with Flash, when I assign the function "stop all sounds" on one of the buttons it works without any problem. But when I assign on (press) {
gotoAndPlay("Scene 9", 1);
}
it does not work and does not move to any scene...
If someone has a light on this subject...it would be absolutely great!!

Second hot question:
I compressed a video clip quicktime to swf. I uploaded the swf file on the server and I created a button in Flash that loads the movie in a target on the stage..it works fine...but I wonder how I could insert a preloader in that same target while the movie (8.3MB) loads....
