Is SWF enemy of search engine ???

Everyone says dont use & dont use flash. Is is really harm a website ? So if I need a interactive animation, what should I do ? Plz post me your suggestion.

When you opted to add Flash to your website was it because maybe you thought it was a cool way to show off your design prowess or was it because Flash really was the best tool for the job you had in mind? If it was the former, then you've got to take a very perceptive view at what you're producing and decide whether you should replace or supplement your Flash site to some degree.

If you've concluded that Flash is truly the best tool for your website goals, then do what you can to optimize its potential for high placement on keyword search engine returns. You can do this by at least using keyword phrases in the title and description tags. Then consider creating an HTML-only version of your website, specifically for search engine optimization.

Inbound link building should be a primary consideration in promoting any Flash site to the SEs. Rather than opting for various search engine workarounds, concentrate on building a network of quality inbound links to your website pages.
