Hi nice looking site, I love bikes :)

one thing I would say, the reservations page is not secure so if I sent my credit card details to you they can be seen by others, this needs sorting out, or you will have loads of problems in the future.

I hope the business goes well :)

There are a few reasons people frown on flash. The biggest use to be that search engines couldn't read flash and there for couldn't index flash. That has changed over the last month or two sence macromedia designed a tool for search engines that let them read text and link info. This way search engines can index them. The secound is because flash files can get big, and there are still alot of people on dialup. Thus it causes a long wait. When you design in flash, you really should take that into account and try keeping the flash file small. Maybe compose it of several movies and only load the stuff you need. Even dynamic text and graphics can help in this aspect. Try to keep as much loading invisible to the end user as possible. The third reason flash is not liked would be how its implimented. There are many sites out there that have flash intros that are just horribly done. Designers don't take into account of the end user. As a designer you probably have a good computer, but the people who visit the site don't nessisarily have a good computer. When flash looks choopy and slow, it really puts out a bad impression of flash. As a designer though, you are the one that makes people either like or hate flash.

SparkyFire understands why people do not like Flash.

I am in the Texas Hill country on the edge
of nowhere. Where I live I have two choices,
1) a dial up connection at 26.4Kbps or
2) a satellite connection at $99/month.

The guy that owns and runs our local ISP
downloads at 12 Kbps at his house because
the telephone equipment is so ancient around here.

As a result, whenever I go to a site
that uses Flash, I just disapear as soon
as I see that little logo unless the site
is of continuing importance to me.

There are plenty of sites to go to that
haven't klunked up their site with Flash.

Some points to ponder.

More computers can play Flash than can handle Java.

Flash doesn't have the security vulnerabilities associated with it like other technologies.

Cross browser compatibility better than any other technology.

Flash does it all and works well with xml, php, asp, and cgi.

The future of the internet is interactive and presentation, "Madison Avenue" influenced sites.

If you stick to vector graphics, the Flash site will always be a smaller file size than any other technology for the same presentation.

And the list goes on...

By the way. I have three sites, all Flash, that show up consistently in the top ten(same search) of the big three search engines in fairly competitive market.
